Paddington Bear receives a British Passport by the Home Office
You might not expect the Home Office to have a sense of humor, but they’ve just issued Paddington Bear a British passport, officially naming him “Bear Brown,” a British citizen born in Peru.
The producers of the latest Paddington film ‘Paddington in Peru’ had asked for a replica to be used as a prop in the film – but were surprisingly given an official one. This one of a kind document cannot be used however and is a specimen document.
Paddington could have saved himself some trouble by asking us for a pre-approved Photo Code. That way, he could have applied for his UK passport from the comfort of home, all while enjoying his marmalade sandwiches. Mind you, it wouldn’t have been nearly as funny! Check out the film trailer below.
